AKC REGISTERED FEMALE?
WE HAVE ASKED ON YOUR BEHALF.... QUESTION: Can AKC registered female be bred to non-AKC registered male (male registered in a foreign country - in our case Canadian Kennel Club) and have the litter registered with AKC? ANSWER PROVIDED DIRECTLY BY AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB: "In order to register a litter with a AKC registered dam and a foreign sire, the mating must take place in the foreign country and the litter must be born in the US. A certified pedigree from an acceptable registry must be submitted on the sire along with a statement of ownership. You may find a list of our acceptable registries and countries by signing on our website www.akc.org and click on foreign registration." |
